Update On Giving Up Income To Make More Income

Thursday, July 21st, 2005

I thought it’s only fair to give an update on the last entry about this. Did this strategy work? Does giving up part of your income or control help propel you ahead? Well… as of my mid year accounting, I’ve made 50% more than the same time last year.

While ok, some may say good, it isn’t quite what I’m hoping for though I still have half a year and so many things yet to do. Still… it’s progress and that’s what it’s all about isn’t it? As John Reese says, it’s about giving yourself a pay raise every day.

Did Underachiever Mastery and Traffic Secrets help me get that increase? You bet. Actually more Traffic Secrets than Underachiever Mastery. Don’t get me wrong, I’m NOT going to let UM sit on my shelves just that TS itself is HUGE, there’s still so much I have yet to implement and with a household to run and three little rotten butts to run after all day :-) it’s going to take me a little longer than others who don’t have this ‘issue’

Working Hard!

Sunday, February 27th, 2005

15 days since the last post, been really busy in my private life as well as working on those sites/concepts! While I’m so pumped up and want to apply everything of what I’m learning, I’m also having to reign myself in. Remember focus? Yeah… I have a finger in too many pies. Like John Reese says in his newsletter, “working on too many projects at a time is the kiss of death”. Even though I posted that early last month, I’m still trying hard to keep myself from going off tangent. Not easy but has to be done.

The decision has been made to work on my Nitro Incubator site for now since that is the one that I’ve come furthest and a sure-fire one so to speak. Meanwhile I’m still continuing to soak up all the lessons from the Underachiever DVD’s and Reese Report, the February issue is already out and again explosive!

I just realized last week that I’ve earned over 4 times more in 2004 than 2003. That totally floored me as it didn’t seem like that much. I hope I can keep that pace going. I truly have my two good friends Alice Seba and Kelly McCausey to thank for this. They are truly a beacon for entreprenuer moms.

What Underachiever Mastery Does Beautifully

Friday, February 11th, 2005

My husband has for years pestered me to teach him how to set up a web page for him to sell something online. He has little… more like 0.01 point knowledge about building web pages (sorry dear) so I always take a deep deep breath and cringe because I’d have to go so basic I’d bore myself to tears trying to teach him, doesn’t help I’m not a good teacher

So when I popped that first UM disc into my DVD player I was surprised and VERY pleased. Finally! It’s all explained in a way he can understand. He’s no newbie to the Internet but he’s not a geek either – more gamer type. Well, I practically pounced on him when he got home from work, made him watch it and he was hooked! I mean hooked! There is very little he doesn’t understand from the UM method so far and he even went to make his own flycatcher page. I am so glad I finally got him passionate about what I want to do online, our first UM project is going to be his baby.

The verdict, UM is GREAT for newbies. Too bad they aren’t selling UM anymore as of right now. We never know what’s to happen tommorrow but if they ever sell the remaining copies get it. I know it’s a lot of money but look at me. I spent 4 years and certainly lots more money than $1500 trying to figure things out myself, got me nowhere. Really this is truth and I’m not an affiliate or anything like that just telling things as it is.

Underachiever Mastery

Friday, February 11th, 2005

Well well, guess what did I decided to get into? I’ve gone about 1/3 way through with my husband and these are my initial thoughts.

If you’ve been on the Internet Marketing scene a little while, you’re probably going to be bored stiff by a huge part of this program now.. I’m not saying it’s bad in fact the opposite… If you’ve been on the Internet Marketing scene a while and not having a great deal of success or zero success, this will change your perspectives.

You see, as John Reese’s student, I’m a classic overachiever type but a lot of the stuff Traffic Secrets teach you to do is after you’ve got a product, after you’ve set up the basics and it’s a must have for those with existing profitable sites – like Undies sites :-D and that’s what Traffic Secrets does best.

But, if you’re someone like me who makes most of her money from joint ventures, partnerships and outsourcing, my sites don’t even sell anything. I don’t even need a website at all. Thus… when I got Traffic Secrets, although I see great potential and I wanted to apply my new knowledge I really had nowhere to apply it to and this is where Underachiever Mastery fits in perfectly. In fact… I dunno if the original Undies at Gold Coast know it or not, how lucky they are to have learnt the Undies method first before getting Traffic Secrets. These two are really an explosive combination but I couldn’t help thinking to myself boy how I wish I had this before I had Traffic Secrets. UM first then sprinkle (or load it on) some TS methods, you’re in for some serious business. As it stands now, I’m having to put *some* of TS’s stuff on hold until I can practice them on my Undies site once that is profitable and boy I can’t wait.
