Update On Giving Up Income To Make More Income

I thought it’s only fair to give an update on the last entry about this. Did this strategy work? Does giving up part of your income or control help propel you ahead? Well… as of my mid year accounting, I’ve made 50% more than the same time last year.

While ok, some may say good, it isn’t quite what I’m hoping for though I still have half a year and so many things yet to do. Still… it’s progress and that’s what it’s all about isn’t it? As John Reese says, it’s about giving yourself a pay raise every day.

Did Underachiever Mastery and Traffic Secrets help me get that increase? You bet. Actually more Traffic Secrets than Underachiever Mastery. Don’t get me wrong, I’m NOT going to let UM sit on my shelves just that TS itself is HUGE, there’s still so much I have yet to implement and with a household to run and three little rotten butts to run after all day :-) it’s going to take me a little longer than others who don’t have this ‘issue’

Joel Comm’s What Google Never Told You About Making Money With Adsense

Boy is THAT a long title :-) So, I’ve been hearing a lot about this guy lately and read some awesome reviews. Then my friend Rick Butts sent this email to me yesterday that Joel Comm is giving away his second edition $127 book for $97… *scratches head*

You know… I’m bad at math but not THAT bad! So… I did it. Signed up for it, my bank’s short of $97 tonight LOL but hopefully I’ll have much more in return. Now, as I’ve said in my Tech Based Marketing Blog, I haven’t bought his book before but I have confidence in my friends Rick Butts and Alice Seba who so give this product high reviews.

I’ve already downloaded the book but alas! Our air conditioner quit tonight so I don’t know if I’m in much mood for reading since my brains’ fried (literally). Ok so you might be wondering how can an Asian lady feel warm? It must be warmer in Asia. You’re right. It is but our homes are built to be ‘open’ and ‘cool’, no carpetting, doors and windows open wide! The windows in my house is stuck fast so it feels like a pressure cooker in here!

Anyway… back to Joel Comm and What Google Never Told You About Making Money With Adsense teleseminar and book. I’ll be posting my reviews, experience and progress here. Oh, and you’re always welcome to start your own adventure by getting on the call too ;-)

Finally! On my own domain

This blog was only supposed to be a sandbox to test out MSN Spaces but I’ve decided there’s much more I’d like to add here. So, bye bye MSN Spaces hello my own domain & beloved WordPress! Too bad I can’t redirect the Spaces blog to here :(

The move has been tedious but good thing there are only a few entries. I owe you an update – in the last entry, I’d given up my steady income helping people implement scripts and technology so I can Underachieve (and over achieve!) … the results to date are almost in. Look for an update entry in a few days.
